Course Duration - 4 hours

Who Should Take This Course

This course is for anyone who may work with or enter a confined space as part of their employment.

A confined space is an area that is fully or partially enclosed with limited access. It also is not designed for continuous human occupancy and is hazardous due to the work that is performed inside, or conditions present in the space.

Employers must determine all confined spaces in their organization. If the organization has a confined space, all employees that will have access to the area must take this course and be trained. Many workers are injured and killed each year while working in confined spaces. An estimated 60% of the fatalities have been among the would-be rescuers. A confined space can be more hazardous than regular workspaces for many reasons.

Course Description

To effectively control the risks associated with working in a confined space, a Confined Space Hazard Assessment and Control Program should be implemented for your workplace. Expert Safety Solutions will provide your employees with professional training that will qualify them to work safely in confined spaces. This is a basic confined space awareness course. Specific additional on-site training may be required.

A test for each participant will be given at the end of the course. All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.
