Traffic Control Persons
Each year, many workers are injured or killed while working as traffic control persons. Sometimes workers with little or no experience or training are used as Traffic Control Persons. Quality safety training is needed to instruct and train TCP's and thus prevent injuries and deaths.
Course Description
The objective of this course by Expert Safety Solutions, is to explain the purpose of traffic control persons, which is to protect construction crews and the public by regulating traffic flow whenever it is required to ensure construction is completed in a safe manner while ensuring that the public safety takes priority. After completing Expert Safety Solutions' Traffic Control Persons Training Course you will have gained the knowledge about the rights and responsibilities of a traffic control person (TCP), how to recognize, assess and control hazards in the work zone, how to set up a temporary work zone and what personal protective equipment is required, as well as much more beneficial information.

Duration
3 hour instructor led program at your location. A test for each participant will be given at the end of the course. All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.
